DIGITAL ORGANIZERS (Part-time)
Promote The Vote PA is seeking a full-time and part-time Digital Organizer who will be responsible for executing texting and phone banks campaigns for vote by mail and GOTV outreach, as well as election protection and event recruitment. They will also help lead volunteer recruitment and training, building systems and structures to increase volunteer leadership and capacity, and support volunteers. The Digital Organizer will report to the Managing Director.
Specific Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for building and maintaining texting campaigns and virtual dialer phone banks, including scripting, data management, etc.

Build volunteer base to accommodate organization's growing needs

Help establish volunteer recruitment & volunteer leader teams

Oversee volunteer training on digital tools and effective voter engagement

Creating structures and resources to empower volunteer leaders to help run our trainings, programs etc

Analyzing the performance of emails, texts and other digital recruitment and engagement tools and recommend and adjust strategies accordingly

Creating a compassionate and rich culture in virtual spaces (Zoom, Slack, etc) and helping to share our political analysis with our volunteer base
Qualifications and Skills:

1-2 cycles of campaign experience as an organizer. Preferably digital organizing.

Experience working with political distributed tools, such as Scale To Win Auto-Dialer, Scale To Win Spoke, Call Hub, VPB, etc.

Tech and data savvy; experience with VAN, Every Action, Canva, Mobilize and other campaign tools welcome but not required

Experience with volunteer recruitment and leadership development

Strong commitment to independent, innovative political action by and for working people

A goal-driven, detail-oriented self-starter and problem-solver with ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong commitment to racial, social, economic, and gender justice

Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and challenge people to take risks in order to make change

Ability to work irregular hours
Location: Remote

Salary: Part-Time: $2,500 (up to 20 hrs/week)
​
Term: Current funding guarantees employment through November 2024. Future employment beyond this term is possible, however cannot be guaranteed at this moment.
